SkillsLib.ai

Our Story

We Built This Because We Needed It

We were spending hours crafting Claude skills for our own work. Structured prompts, detailed workflows, output templates. Every time we needed something repeatable, we built it from scratch.

Then we noticed everyone else was doing the same. Lawyers, developers, marketers — all reinventing the same wheels, in isolation. That was an enormous waste. So we built SkillsLib.ai.

One skill, shared once, can save a thousand people from starting over.

— M. Bennett, CEO & Co-founder

The Problem

A good Claude skill is a system, not a prompt. It encodes domain knowledge, defines outputs, handles edge cases. Building one takes days. And the result stays trapped on one person's machine when it could be helping thousands.

The Vision

A surgeon's discharge summary skill saves 30 minutes per patient. At scale, that is thousands of hours a week. A developer's code review skill, shared across ten thousand teams, makes the software we all depend on measurably better. Skills compound.

For Sellers

Your expertise, encoded in a skill, can save thousands of hours for people you will never meet. When you sell on SkillsLib, you are not just earning — you are adding to a shared library of human capability that grows every time someone new discovers it.

Humanity has always advanced fastest when knowledge crosses boundaries. A technique from surgery improves manufacturing. A framework from economics reshapes public policy. An insight from music theory unlocks a breakthrough in mathematics. Progress has never been confined to silos — it accelerates every time an idea escapes the domain it was born in. SkillsLib exists to do that for AI expertise. When a financial analyst's risk assessment skill reaches a startup founder, when a teacher's lesson design skill helps a corporate trainer, when a legal researcher's document review skill saves a nonprofit hours it cannot afford to lose — that is not just productivity. That is knowledge compounding across the full breadth of human endeavor, faster than any single field could achieve on its own.

The Team

A small, focused group who all felt this problem before building the solution.

M. Bennett

M. Bennett

CEO & Co-founder

“I built the first version of SkillsLib because I was tired of rebuilding the same Claude skills every few months. If I needed them, so did everyone else.”

S. Chen

S. Chen

CTO

“I have spent 15 years building developer platforms. SkillsLib is the first product where non-technical users immediately understand what is happening under the hood. That clarity almost never happens, and it means the product is genuinely right.”

M. Rodriguez

M. Rodriguez

VP Marketing

“The skills economy is a real category shift, not a trend. When I saw how fast early users were sharing skills with their teams without being prompted to, I knew this was something worth betting on.”

A. Patel

A. Patel

Head of AI Engineering

“Making AI workflows reliable, portable, and composable is a hard problem. It is also the most consequential infrastructure challenge I have worked on. I am here because the difficulty matches the impact.”

K. Thompson

K. Thompson

Head of Customer Success

“Every time a customer tells me a skill saved them hours on work they used to dread, it confirms why I came here. I have never worked somewhere where the product's impact on people is this direct and this fast.”

L. Dubois

L. Dubois

Head of Product

“You can tell a product has real product-market fit when users explain its value back to you better than you can. That happens here within the first hour. I joined because that kind of resonance is worth building on.”

O. Mensah

O. Mensah

Head of Product Development

“Shipping a feature is the easy part. Shipping it in a way that holds up under real usage, scales without breaking, and stays maintainable is the actual work. That discipline is what separates platforms people trust from ones they merely tolerate.”

Y. Tanaka

Y. Tanaka

Head of AI Development

“The most interesting AI problems here are not the obvious ones. Building a classifier that categorizes skills correctly sounds simple until you realize the edge cases span every profession on earth. That kind of breadth is exactly why I came.”

N. Berger

N. Berger

Head of Information Security

“Sellers store their best work here. Buyers enter payment details and personal data. That trust is the entire foundation. My job is to make sure nothing we build ever puts it at risk, and to prove that to everyone who asks.”
